Vibrant and energetic, Kids Pioneer Primary School has, since its inauguration in 2013, become an integral part of the local community—a place where children can grow, learn, and develop.
Situated in Bugiri near Entebbe on a spacious, green campus with a breathtaking view of Lake Victoria, our school offers not only an inspiring environment but also an exceptional learning atmosphere.
Learners are groomed to be confident, curious, creative, and compassionate individuals that can speak up for themselves. In a safe and supportive environment, students are encouraged to ask questions, discuss, and develop their own opinions.
From humble beginnings, we have grown to become an important point of reference for many families in the region.
Kids Pioneer Primary School welcomes learners from all religious backgrounds.
In addition to having excellent PLE results, we place great emphasis on creative subjects and sporting activities. Teacher William welcomes students in the Art & Gallery building, Teacher David makes our learners competent ICT users, and Teacher Vincent makes logic and strategy come together in his chess classes. In the afternoons, children enthusiastically practice football, netball, table tennis, or athletics. Others will jump on the trampolines or browse through the school library. On the weekends, you will experience debates and talent shows at the assembly hall.
The school is headed by Headteacher Ronald Were, who leads a passionate team of teachers and support staff.
The connection with Kids of Africa
Kids Pioneer Primary School is closely connected with the Swiss/Ugandan NGO Kids of Africa. Kids of Africa is a development organization that through the years has been the home for more than 100 children. In 2013, the organization built the Kids Pioneer Primary School to create a school for their own children as well as the nearby community.
